At Hope Town, our mission is more than a statement—it’s something we live out daily, and it’s made possible by people who pour their hearts into the work of recovery. This month, we proudly honored Adam Ciganik, our Program Director, with the Mission Driven Award, a recognition given to team members who consistently embody the values, vision, and spirit of Hope Town.

Adam’s journey to this recognition is a powerful testament to what’s possible through recovery, perseverance, and purpose.

As someone in long-term recovery, Adam has walked the difficult road of addiction and transformation. He knows firsthand the weight of brokenness, the challenges of rebuilding, and the importance of having a safe and supportive environment where people can begin again. His personal experiences are not just part of his past—they’re the foundation of the empathy and leadership he brings to Hope Town every single day.

In his early days, Adam faced many of the same barriers and battles that those we serve are facing right now. Through those experiences, he developed not only a deep understanding of the recovery process but also a fierce dedication to helping others find freedom and stability. Recovery didn’t just change his life—it gave him a new direction.

Adam began his professional journey in recovery housing and peer support roles, where he quickly stood out for his work ethic, consistency, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Over time, he grew into leadership, always bringing the same authenticity and compassion to the table. At Hope Town, Adam has become a cornerstone of our programs. He is the type of leader who doesn’t just manage—he mentors, inspires, and builds up those around him.

Whether he’s managing operations, supporting staff, coaching residents, or simply lending a listening ear, Adam’s presence is steady, thoughtful, and mission-focused. He sets the tone for the kind of culture we strive for: one rooted in accountability, compassion, and real human connection. He knows that healing isn’t a straight line and that everyone’s path is unique—and he honors that in how he leads.

The Mission Driven Award is not about flashy accomplishments—it’s about consistency, integrity, and heart. Adam lives the mission. He models it. He carries it with him in every decision, every conversation, and every act of service. His life is a powerful reminder that the work we do matters—and that people can and do recover.

As we celebrated Adam’s well-deserved recognition, the entire Hope Town team reflected on how far he’s come—and how many people he’s helped along the way. His story is one of transformation, leadership, and hope, and we are incredibly proud to have him on our team.

Congratulations, Adam. Your journey continues to light the way for others, and your leadership is a gift to this community.
