About Us:
Hope Town, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides housing, transportation, recovery support and employment services to adults recovering from addiction. Our social enterprise, Hope On Wheels, offers transportation services to the public, with proceeds supporting our primary mission. We are looking for dedicated part-time drivers to join our team and provide safe and reliable transportation for our clients.
Impactful Work & Benefits:
- Pay: $14-$15.50/hour
- Flexible Schedule: 20-30 hours/week
- Bonus Opportunities:
- 90-day bonus: Earn up to $150 for new drivers
- One-year bonus: Earn up to $500 after one year
- Annual bonuses available after the first year
- (Bonuses are based on job performance and 25+ hours/week average, with prorated bonuses for fewer hours)

Job Description:
As a driver for Hope On Wheels, you will play a critical role in transporting clients safely and on time to their destinations. This is a mission-driven role where your work directly contributes to the support and well-being of individuals in recovery. You must uphold professionalism, politeness, and reliability in all client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport clients to and from destinations
- Arrive at destinations punctually and plan routes accordingly to avoid delays
- Utilize navigation tools to determine the best routes considering traffic, construction, and weather
- Maintain a clean and fueled vehicle, ensuring it is ready for daily use
- Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs
- Keep accurate records of mileage and repairs
- Obey ALL traffic laws
- Provide professional and courteous service to all clients
Qualifications:
- A safe and clean driving record
- Preferred experience in transportation services
- Excellent communication, customer service skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use navigation apps and technology effectively
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods
- Physical capability to operate a vehicle safely
- Able to lift and move items up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions when needed
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Day shifts preferred
